This Wall Calendar celebrates Frida Kahlo's legacy and brings 12 of her finest works to life for 2013. Although Kahlo did not achieve widespread recognition until the 1980s, her often surreal paintings continue to be exalted for their strong Mexican and feminist cultural values. Most famous for portraying herself in her art, she composed 55 self-portraits during her career, 6 of which accompany a six-language calendar grid in this collection.
