As an actor/singer/director, I have been collecting musical scores and selections for many years. Being involved in a production gives me an excuse to splurge and buy a vocal score like this one, but unlike the others I have purchased, this one is no longer the definitive version of the show. This score is the ORIGINAL 1970 production score; it does not include "Marry Me a Little," and various songs are in differing keys than what is licensed through MTI.This score is a nice keepsake, and I always appreciate having various versions/arrangements of music, but if you are looking for a more accurate/complete collection of music from Company I recommend purchasing the vocal selections or (if you can find it) the 25th Anniversary Edition of the Vocal Selections (pink cover).
