Reviews
This book is the key of a secret door into the world of “Memory’s Wake.” The stories of the trilogy, be they read by page or heard by narration, were portals through the veil into Avall. This guide contains the magic and reveals many secrets that only the Fae know…well and Selina. If you liked “Memory’s Wake,” “Hope’s Reign,” and “Providence Unveiled,” otherwise known as “The Memory’s Wake Trilogy” then this guide is a treasured keepsake you must add to your library. If you have yet to read them, what are you waiting for?! Get to readin’ and then read this Companion Guide!I am a “Memory’s Wake” collector. I have the Nook e-books, the Kindle e-books, the Audible Audio Books, and the Omnibuses for all three. This is my first actual book for MW and I LOVE it. The cover is beautiful. All of the series’ illustrations contained within the pages are stunning. The character descriptions, the magic explanations, the hints at what might have been, oooh the maps….there is so much to see and read.I have not read it from cover to cover, yet, but I immediately looked through and admired every single image upon receiving it for Christmas. I have opened it many time since, reading whatever page it opens upon, dillydallying here and there, and perusing the images many times over, and have read it out of order and all over.I felt, by how many times this book may be opened, that I wanted to get the hard cover version for sure. I am so pleased that I did. I love the weight and size of it. With some physical limitations and weaknesses, holding books gives me trouble. This one has a nice feel though. And the buttery cream pages give an old world feel that almost feels like it came from Avall and not Amazon. ;0)I highly recommend all the Memory’s Wake books to readers, and this Companion Guide to readers and fantasy art admirers. Just be aware do NOT read this book before reading the stories….there be many, many spoilers, contained herein and you truly do not want the story explained to you before you can go on the adventure with Memory first!Memory's Wake - The Official Illustrated Companion GuideYou can find the Kindle Omnibus here, if you have yet to read the trilogy: Memory's Wake Omnibus: The Complete Illustrated YA Fantasy Series (Memory's Wake Trilogy Book 4)And the Omnibus Audio Book here: Memory's Wake Omnibus: The Complete YA Fantasy Series: Memory's Wake Trilogy, Book 4
